   • Documentation: If the wheel is found to be bent, the issue is documented in our in house developed shop management system. A video of the bent wheel is recorded and uploaded for further reference and approval from the customer.

2. Straightening Process

   • Precision Equipment: Our technicians use advanced hydraulic and mechanical straightening machines to carefully reshape the wheel. The process involves applying controlled pressure to the bent areas until the wheel is restored to its original roundness.

Repairing Cracked Wheels At P1

Not all cracked wheels can be safely repaired. To ensure the safety of our customers, we follow a strict procedure to determine the viability of welding a wheel, ensuring it can be safely used on the road.

If a wheel is deemed safe for welding and repair, it undergoes inspection in a dedicated area of our facility specifically designed for this purpose. The welding area operates within a controlled environment, separated by 20 mil shop curtains, and equipped with an air filtration system that captures particles as small as 10 microns. This ensures the highest standards of safety and quality in our repair processes.

While there are similarities with repair methods in other industries, our technicians follow processes tailored exclusively to automotive wheels.
